Ambassador Mumba Kapumpa joined the World Vision Zambia Board in 2012. He is currently the Vice Board Chiarperson and serving on the Governance and Nominating Committee as Chairperson. He obtained a Bachelor of Law (LLB) Degree in International Law and Company Law from the University of Zambia (UNZA) in 1970. He has been practicing law since 1972 and is State Counsel. He was Zambia’s Ambassador to South Korea from 2014-2017. He is a Fellow of Institute of Directors of Zambia (FIoDZ) since 2014.
He has developed Strategic Plans for more than 15 institutions in Zambia and has developed Board Charters for 13 organisations in the SADC Region. He taught Corporate Governance at Cavendish University in Lusaka and is a Certified Tutor in Corporate Governance since 2003.
He is married to Mrs Chisanga Hilda Mutale Kapumpa and has 5 children Mumba, Mukuni, Chanda, Mwila and Mwamba. He attends the Christian Missions in Many Lands, Lusaka Gospel Hall.
