Ms. Mukwandi Chibesakunda

Audit and Risk Committee Member

Mukwandi Chibesakunda has been serving on the World Vision Zambia Board since May 2021 and sits on the Audit and Risk committee.

Presently, Mukwandi Chibesakunda holds the position of Chief Executive Officer for Zambia National Commercial Bank Plc. She is an experienced Banker with a demonstrated history of achieving results in the Financial Services industry. She is skilled in Business Planning, Analytical Skills, and Strategic Leadership.

She has vast experience in various Financial Service Industry roles with a journey which began as a Graduate Associate in Standard Chartered Bank, rising through the ranks to Executive Director at Standard Chartered Zambia with an additional role of participating in the Global Diversity and Inclusion council at the time.

Previously she was a Financial Analyst at the Bank of Zambia, Managing Director at Access Bank Zambia, Head of Personal and Business Banking at Stanbic Bank, and CEO at NATSAVE.

She received an MBA from Manchester Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Zambia.

She is married and attends Mount Zion Christian Centre.
