Mr. Malcolm Chabala is the Board Chairperson for the World Vision Zambia Board. He is a career banker and a risk management specialist, with 13 years of banking experience.
He is a graduate of the University of Zambia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration & Development Studies. He holds a Masters degree in International Development from the University of Manchester in the UK. He also holds a Diploma in Banking & Finance from the Zambia Institute of Banking & Financial Services, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from the National Institute of Public Administration. He is a member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), the Economics Association of Zambia, and the Zambia Institute of Banking & Financial Services.
Malcolm is married to Nthandose Monica who is an accountant and a lawyer. They have 4 children: Nkole, Mapalo, Tapewa & Mutende. They are practising and active Catholics and attend Mass at the Cathedral of the Child Jesus in Lusaka. Both Nthandose and Malcom are lectors at church. Malcom is passionate about development and poverty eradication and also serves on the Board
of Habitat for Humanity Zambia.
He joined the World Vision Zambia Board on 22nd November, 2013.
